Responsibilities define the work you delegate. Capabilities are the individual actions xem uses to carry it out, such as sending a message, scheduling a follow-up or updating your software.
We set up each responsibility with you, defining its scope, enabled capabilities, rules and completion criteria.

Adaptation Engine
Tell xem what should change in the responsibilities it already handles. The Adaptation Engine updates configurations, combines existing capabilities or coordinates the development of a missing capability. xem gathers the instructions it needs, takes care of the process and lets you know when the change is ready.
Coding agents develop new capabilities. Every new capability is reviewed by our team before it can be enabled. Changes within active responsibilities are included in your subscription. A new responsibility requires a separate agreement and setup with our team.

Execution Engine
The Execution Engine handles ongoing work, one-off requests and the actions you approve, using the capabilities enabled for each responsibility. It tracks requests and responses, follows up on unfinished work and checks completion against your criteria.
It stays within the responsibilities you have activated. For example, if only guest communication is active and a request needs a cleaner, xem involves the property manager. It contacts the cleaner directly only when cleaning coordination is also active and the agreed rules allow it.

Reusable capabilities
Once approved, a capability becomes available across the platform. It can be configured for another business or responsibility without being developed again.
Availability does not mean activation. New capabilities are enabled at your request, with the instructions and permissions needed for your business. xem can also suggest a capability and ask whether you want to enable it. Your data, rules and business context remain separate.
